Benny Gantz, head of Kachol Lavan political party, called on overnight Thursday for Israel

“to act aggressively against violations of our sovereignty and against an attack on the security of the state of Israel.”

Benny Gantz’s remark came after Israel’s Iron Dome aerial defense system was activated as a result of missiles launched from the besieged Gaza Strip.

Following missiles fired at Israel, Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes targeting 100 sites across Gaza and injuring four Palestinians.
