The Second Israeli Channel said the Israeli government will take measures to prevent Hamas prisoners from communicating with each other in Israeli jails, using cell-phones.

Gilad Ardan, the Minister of Internal Security allocated 12-million New Israeli Shekels (NIS) to prevent Hamas prisoners from calling each other inside Israeli jails.

An electronic system will be installed in two Israeli prisons to cut off this communication in the first stage.

These measures came after the Israeli Prison Service has admitted its failure to prevent Hamas prisoners from getting cell phones into prisons.

Israeli authorities claim that their actions “would decrease incitement.”
