Israel Strikes Gaza by Air

Israeli air forces this morning carried out a series of airstrikes against a number of resistance bases across the Gaza Strip, no casualties were reported, Quds Press reported.

Witnesses said Israeli helicopters flew across the Gaza Strip and launched three rockets towards Palestinian targets.

Two rockets targeted two Al-Qassam Brigades targets in Al-Shati refugee camp in the west of Gaza City.

Another strike targeted the Al-Qassam training base called Brigade 13 to the east of Bureij refugee camp, in the middle of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources said that no cases were admitted to hospital but said a number of families fled their homes due to the strikes. A number of apartments in Al-Maqousi compound were partly damaged.

Israeli sources said the strikes came in response to a Palestinian rocket launched on Tuesday evening at an open space in the occupied Negev.
