Israeli Forces Wound Dozens of Palestinian Students

Dozens of Palestinians were injured during clashes yesterday evening around Al-Quds University in East Jerusalem, Quds Press reported.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Association, 21 Palestinian youths were wounded by rubber coated bullets and around 40 others suffered breathing problems as a result of inhaling tear gas.

Before the clashes, Palestinians burnt tyres, broke through the illegal Israeli Separation Wall in the town and threw stones at an Israeli military jeep in the area.

Earlier, university students organised a festival commemorating 40 days since Israel killed Diyaa Talahmeh, 21, in the town of Kharsa near Hebron.
