Kuwait will host an international conference to highlight Israeli violations and abuses against Palestinian children, the country’s acting Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, said on Wednesday.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, Al-Sabah said Palestinians must be helped to establish an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

With regards to Syria, Al-Sabah said those responsible for the death of civilians must be brought to justice.

He stated: “We are following with concern the Syrian crisis and the developments of the situation in light of a difficult humanitarian situation.”
