A new election ad featuring Israeli Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked caused outrage.

In the 44-second video posted on Shaked’s Twitter page Monday afternoon, the justice minister is seen striking sultry poses as a voice-over of her lists in Hebrew the names of different policies she supports, such as “separation of powers.”

At the end of the video, she picks up a bottle of perfume labeled “fascism,” sprays herself with it, and says to the camera:

“I dunno. For me, it’s the scent of democracy.”

Shaked is infamous for her violent views against Palestinians including such statements as:

“They [Palestinians] are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now, this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there.”

  1. Very weird! I guess she &/or her party have been accused of being “Fascist,” but she and her party simplistically respond that they are mislabeled, misunderstood by the evil opposition! Those who are labeled “Fascists” are really the upholders of “Democracy”! In order to sell this slosh, the young, somewhat attractive politician, vamps for the camera like a high-class prostitute! I thought American politics and sloganeering was bad! This is shameful and disgraceful!
