Recently released footage shows a Palestinian woman being shot by Israeli forces as she and a group of others, while waving white flags, attempt to evacuate Gaza City.
The footage, recently obtained by media, was reportedly recorded on November 12 in the center of Gaza City.
In the video, numerous civilians, most of them women and children, can be seen making their way down a street, whilst carrying some belongings and waving white flags.
One woman walking in the front of the group is accompanied by a child, who waves a white flag. A shot is fired, and the woman collapses. Amidst screams, the child runs off towards the rest of the group, as they try to take cover near a building.

The person recording the video can be heard crying: “The woman got shot! The b**tards shot the woman! No one should go out into the street.”
Someone from the group is seen going to the aid of the woman who was shot, but there are no details about the aftermath of the incident. The identity and fate of the woman who was shot remain unknown, reports Anadolu.

Another video that has been circulated is of a father and his young daughter shot by Israeli snipers in the al-Shati Refugee Camp in northern Gaza.
According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 23,210 Palestinians have been killed, and 59,167 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7.
Palestinian and international estimates say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
