Some 30 Israeli settlers stormed the yards of Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning through Almgharba Gate, under the protection of Israeli soldiers. They were met with chants from Palestinians who were present at the sacred site.

Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on a daily basis and the international community as well as Arab countries have remained mostly silent on the issue.

While Israel has imposed a ban on storming of the mosque during the month of Ramadan, this has since been lifted.
