Iran escalated its missile campaign with Wave 75 strikes across Israel, warning of retaliation in response to threats against Tehran.

Key Developments

  • Iran launches Wave 75 targeting Israeli military and aerospace sites.
  • Sirens, missile damage, and cluster strikes reported across Israel.
  • Tehran warns of retaliation against energy infrastructure after US threats.

Wave 75

The Israeli Home Front Command confirmed early on Monday that sirens sounded across southern Israel and the Gaza envelope after detecting missile launches from Iran, marking the third such warning since midnight.

Iranian attacks extended across northern Israel as well, with early warning systems activated in Tiberias, the Galilee, southern Haifa, and the northern coastal plain. Sirens were also heard in Haifa, the Galilee, and the occupied Golan Heights.

According to the Iranian military, the latest barrage forms part of the 75th missile wave announced by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which said it targeted new military deployment sites belonging to the Israeli army.

The spokesman for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya headquarters added that Monday’s attack also targeted Israeli aerospace companies near Ben Gurion Air Base using drones, as part of coordinated operations against Israeli targets.

Israeli media reported that the latest wave struck central and southern Israel, with attempts to intercept missiles in the Naqab (Negev).

Missile Damage and Fragmentation Strikes

The Israeli army said it intercepted an Iranian missile targeting northern Israel, noting that fragments fell in the Safed area without causing damage.

However, Israeli media reported that missile fragments fell in at least eight locations in central Israel.

According to the Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, an Iranian cluster missile caused extensive damage in the city of Petah Tikva, east of Tel Aviv, while a fire broke out in Nir Am in the Gaza envelope after a missile impact.

For its part, the Israeli daily Haaretz reported that the cluster missile was launched from Iran and that its fragments were dispersed across several areas in central and southern Israel.

Emergency crews were dispatched to multiple locations to assess damage and provide assistance.

Israeli media also reported that Iranian missile attacks were carried out in coordination with Hezbollah, targeting northern areas, while another missile reportedly fell in an open area in northern Israel without causing injuries.

Hospitals Under Pressure

The Israeli Ministry of Health announced on Monday that hospitals have treated 4,713 wounded since the start of Operation Lion’s Roar.

In the past 24 hours alone, 153 new injuries were recorded as a result of rocket fire, including two serious cases, two moderate cases, and 140 minor injuries.

According to official data, 123 wounded remain hospitalized, including 15 in critical condition and 27 in moderate condition. Authorities also recorded eight cases of panic attacks following recent strikes targeting central and northern regions.

Israeli Strikes on Iran Intensify

Meanwhile, the Israeli army announced a new wave of attacks targeting infrastructure in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Iranian media reported multiple air raids across northern, central, eastern, and western Tehran, while Al Jazeera’s correspondent confirmed hearing loud explosions as air defenses were activated.

In southern Iran, Mehr news agency reported that one person was killed and another injured in a US-Israeli strike targeting a radio transmission tower in Bandar Abbas.

Fars news agency also reported casualties following an air raid on a residential area in Khorramabad in western Iran.

Local authorities confirmed that six civilians were killed and 43 others injured in that attack, which destroyed four homes and caused a temporary power outage.

Tasnim news agency reported that the meteorological department building in Bushehr was targeted twice by US and Israeli strikes.

For its part, the Iranian army announced on Sunday that it had shot down two American drones ahead of an attempted attack on its naval units in Bandar Abbas.

Tehran said the drones were intercepted before they could carry out operations, underscoring ongoing aerial confrontations between Iranian forces and what it described as US-linked threats.

Iran Warns of Retaliation

In a parallel development, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed on Monday that Tehran is prepared to respond to threats by US President Donald Trump to target Iranian power plants.

The IRGC stated that such an attack would disrupt critical civilian services, including hospitals, water networks, and desalination facilities, describing it as “an absolutely inhumane act.”

It warned that Iran would respond in kind, stating: “If the power stations are attacked, Iran will respond in kind by targeting the power stations of the occupying entity and the power stations in the countries of the region that supply American bases with electricity, in addition to the economic, industrial and energy infrastructure in which the Americans have shares.”

“Never doubt that we will do it,” the IRGC added.

The statement further emphasized that Iran has so far refrained from targeting similar civilian infrastructure despite accusations that US forces had struck hospitals, schools, and water facilities.

It concluded with a warning that Washington has yet to fully understand Iran’s capabilities, adding: “We are determined to respond… and you will see our capabilities on the battlefield.”
