‘Heavy Attacks and Deadly Strikes’
The public relations department of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the launch of the 88th wave of Operation True Promise 4, describing it as a “heavy attack and deadly strikes” against American and Israeli targets.
According to the statement, the IRGC Navy carried out four rapid operations at dawn on Tuesday, including targeting a container ship linked to Israel, identified as ‘Express Halfong’, in Gulf waters.
The IRGC said it also struck US military personnel positions, stating: “We targeted with drones the gathering place of US Navy soldiers on the coasts of the UAE, who were hiding in a covered place outside a military base for fear of our destructive missiles.”

The statement further announced the destruction of a US anti-drone system belonging to the Fifth Fleet near Manama Airport in Bahrain, along with damage to two early warning radar systems at the Jaber Al-Ahmad base in Kuwait.
Reaffirming its posture in the Gulf, the IRGC warned that “the entire Strait of Hormuz is under the control of the Guard and any small movement by the enemies will be met with missiles and drones,” adding that operations would continue “in the path of the martyr Tangsiri.”
The announcement follows the completion of the 87th wave, during which the IRGC said it destroyed “four gathering points of leaders and equipment belonging to the American and Zionist enemies,” including a command and control center near Al-Minhad base in the UAE, reportedly hosting more than 200 US personnel.
It also claimed to have targeted the residence of US Fifth Fleet commanders in Bahrain during a meeting.
Escalation Continues with Strikes in Iran, Israel
The announcement came amid continued exchanges between Iran and US-Israeli forces.
In Iran, local media reported that at least three people were killed and 12 were injured in a strike on an administrative building near the Grand Husseiniya Mosque in Zanjan. Authorities warned of a possible gas leak following the explosion.
Iranian outlets also reported attacks on multiple areas in Tehran, with explosions heard across the capital. In Mahallat, ISNA reported that 11 people were killed and 15 were injured in strikes targeting residential buildings.
Iranian air defenses reportedly shot down an MQ-9 drone over Isfahan, while temporary power outages were reported in Tehran due to damage from falling debris.
In response, Iran launched new missile barrages toward Israel. The Israeli military confirmed missile launches, with sirens sounding in Tel Aviv and central areas.
