Israeli forces killed scores of Palestinians, including displaced families and children, in heavy airstrikes and demolitions across Gaza City as mass displacement continues.
Israeli occupation forces carried out a massacre against displaced families in Gaza City at dawn on Wednesday, amid relentless shelling and ground incursions aimed at destroying the city and uprooting its residents.
A source at the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital confirmed that 17 people, including children, were killed when an airstrike hit a building sheltering displaced persons near Firas Market.
Palestinian media later reported the toll at 20, publishing images of bodies in white bags and videos showing wounded victims, including children, being evacuated.

Raids and Casualties
Medical sources said that over 30 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn, 24 of them in Gaza City.
Among the victims were five killed in a strike on a house in the Sabra neighborhood, two in an attack on Al-Sahaba Street, and a woman in a raid near Yarmouk Market.
Several neighborhoods in the western and southern parts of Gaza City were heavily bombarded overnight and into the morning.
Occupation forces also fired flares over Al-Nasr and Tal al-Hawa neighborhoods, while simultaneously demolishing homes in Sheikh Radwan and on Al-Jalaa Street using explosive-laden vehicles.
A week ago, Israel launched a ground offensive into Gaza City under “Operation Gideon Chariots 2,” with tanks pushing into neighborhoods including Sheikh Radwan and Tal al-Hawa. These incursions and round-the-clock airstrikes have forced tens of thousands to flee.
Gaza Civil Defense estimates that 450,000 people have been displaced toward central and southern Gaza, while roughly one million remain trapped in Gaza City and the north.
In central Gaza, four members of one family were killed this morning in an Israeli strike on their home in Nuseirat camp.
On Tuesday alone, 34 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombing, 25 of them in Gaza City.
Ongoing Genocide
Since reneging on the ceasefire on March 18, Israel has continued its bloody aerial bombardment across the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding thousands of Palestinians.
Starting on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, launched a genocidal war against the people of Gaza. This campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of more than 65,000 Palestinians, with more than 165,000 wounded. The vast majority of the population has been displaced, and the destruction of infrastructure is unprecedented since World War II. Thousands of people are still missing.
In addition to the military assault, the Israeli blockade has caused a man-made famine, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians—mostly children—with hundreds of thousands more at risk.
Despite widespread international condemnation, little has been done to hold Israel accountable. The nation is currently under investigation for genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.
