Deadly Strike
Two Palestinians were killed and others were injured on Friday after an Israeli drone strike targeted a group of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian news agency, WAFA.
The strike hit near the Bahloul junction, resulting in immediate fatalities and multiple injuries among those present.
At the same time, Israeli artillery shelled several areas east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, as well as eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City.
Girl Shot in Displacement Shelter
Earlier on Friday, a young Palestinian girl was seriously injured after Israeli forces opened fire on displacement centers in the Beit Lahiya project area in northern Gaza, QNN and WAFA reported.
Local sources identified the child as Masa Al-Awadia, who was struck by a live bullet in the head while inside a shelter for displaced civilians.
Several others sustained minor injuries inside the Khalifa School shelter amid ongoing artillery shelling and gunfire in the area.
In parallel, Israeli artillery targeted the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, while naval forces opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis.
Ongoing Ceasefire Violations
Israeli forces have continued airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across multiple areas in Gaza despite the declared ceasefire, according to local reports.
Palestinian sources said the attacks have repeatedly targeted residential areas and displacement sites, exacerbating the humanitarian situation.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, 786 Palestinians have been killed and 2,217 injured since the ceasefire was announced.
An additional 761 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during the same period.
The overall death toll since October 7, 2023, has risen to 72,562, with 172,320 injuries reported, amid ongoing attacks and severe strain on Gaza’s healthcare system.
Medical and civil defense teams continue to face significant difficulties reaching victims trapped under rubble or in exposed areas due to continued bombardment and lack of resources.
