Israeli strikes across Gaza killed 43 Palestinians, including entire families and aid seekers, as famine deaths climb to 453 amid Israel’s genocidal war.

At least 43 Palestinians, including 17 people waiting for aid, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Strip since dawn on Tuesday, while Israeli forces withdrew from Al-Jalaa Street in central Gaza City, Al-Jazeera reported, citing medical sources.

Meanwhile, Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirmed that a child in Gaza City died from malnutrition and the lack of medical treatment, underscoring Israel’s policy of starvation.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 453 people—including 150 children—have now died from famine and malnutrition since the beginning of the war.

In recent hours, Israeli attacks struck residential homes and tents sheltering displaced families throughout the Strip.

A medical source at Al-Shifa said several Palestinians were injured in an airstrike on a nearby apartment, while the Baptist Hospital confirmed that two people were killed and several others wounded in an Israeli strike on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood.

Emergency services also reported one killed and several injured in an attack on the Al-Shati refugee camp.

Throughout the night, the Israeli army bombarded Al-Shati camp and the Nasr neighborhood in western Gaza City with artillery and launched intense airstrikes on the Sabra neighborhood in the south.

On the ground, Israeli vehicles retreated from Al-Jalaa Street, where they had advanced the previous evening.

Anadolu news agency reported that the army had cut off Al-Jalaa Street on Monday before positioning at the vital Al-Zaharna intersection, a central artery for civilian traffic and ambulances.

In the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike killed a Palestinian mother and her six children at the al-Baz family home west of Deir al-Balah.

Al-Awda and Al-Aqsa hospitals confirmed that 15 Palestinians waiting for aid were also killed by Israeli fire near distribution centers.

In Nuseirat camp, several were injured when Israeli forces struck the Arandas family home, while artillery shelled the Al-Qarnawi family home in Al-Bureij camp.

In the south, Nasser Hospital reported that three members of one family—a father, his pregnant wife, and their child—were killed when Israeli forces targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the Al-Mawasi area, west of Khan Yunis. Intermittent shelling also hit the Al-Katiba area in central Khan Yunis.

Since October 7, 2023, and with direct US backing, Israel has waged a genocidal war on Gaza, killing 66,055 Palestinians and wounding 168,346, most of them women and children. The ongoing famine has so far claimed the lives of 453 people, including 150 children.
