Israeli fire and demolition operations intensified across the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, leaving five Palestinians dead and several others wounded in central and northern areas, while humanitarian conditions continued to deteriorate amid severe medical shortages and ongoing violations of the October ceasefire.

Key Developments

  • Five Palestinians, including a woman, were killed by Israeli shelling and gunfire in central Gaza.
  • Injuries were reported in Gaza City and Beit Lahia as Israeli forces fired outside deployment areas.
  • Israeli forces carried out raids, artillery strikes, naval fire, and large-scale demolitions across Rafah, Maghazi, Khan Younis, and Jabalia.
  • Gaza authorities said 573 Palestinians have been killed and more than 1,500 wounded since the ceasefire.
  • Hospitals warned laboratory and blood bank services may halt due to severe shortages of medicines and supplies.

Killings and Injuries Across Central Gaza

Medical sources reported that two Palestinians were killed when an Israeli drone targeted an electric bicycle near the village of al-Masdar in the central Gaza Strip. A woman was also killed by gunfire from an Israeli quadcopter drone in the same area.

At the same time, Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital confirmed two deaths from Israeli shelling along Salah al-Din Street, while local sources reported additional injuries in several locations.

In Gaza City, people were wounded by Israeli gunfire outside Israeli deployment zones in the Zeitoun neighborhood, according to Al-Shifa Hospital. Further injuries were reported after Israeli artillery shelling struck Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army said it had eliminated “a militant who crossed the yellow line and posed a threat” in northern Gaza.

Raids, Bombardment and Demolitions

Al-Jazeera correspondents reported Israeli raids in areas of Israeli deployment inside Rafah in southern Gaza, along with additional strikes east of the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Strip.

The Israeli army also carried out extensive demolition operations against residential buildings east of Khan Yunis and in parts of Gaza City under its control.

In the Jabaliya refugee camp, quadcopter drones dropped explosive devices on damaged homes, while Israeli warships fired toward the coasts of Rafah and Khan Yunis and military vehicles opened fire east of Khan Younis.

Gaza’s Government Media Office stated that since the October ceasefire agreement, Israeli fire has killed 573 Palestinians and wounded more than 1,500 others.

Medical Crisis Deepens

Health authorities warned that hospitals may soon stop laboratory and blood bank services because of depleted supplies caused by the ongoing siege.

Officials said the shortage of testing materials poses a direct risk to patients’ lives. Gaza Health Ministry Director-General Munir al-Barsh estimated the shortage of medicines at about 46 percent and warned that many wounded and chronically ill patients face possible death if supplies are not allowed in.

Limited Humanitarian Relief

Amid the crisis, the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) announced the reopening of the Bureij Health Center in central Gaza, restoring basic services to displaced residents after months of closure.

However, humanitarian officials stressed that isolated reopenings cannot offset the broader collapse of Gaza’s health system under continuing restrictions and repeated attacks.
