Iran expanded its operations against US-linked targets across the region and warned that any threat to its oil infrastructure would trigger a decisive response.

Key Developments

  • Iran targets US military assets across Gulf and regional bases.
  • IRGC claims heavy US losses and expanded operational reach.
  • Tehran warns oil infrastructure, including Kharg Island, is a red line.

Iran Expands Strikes

Lieutenant Colonel Ibrahim Zulfiqari, the spokesman for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, announced on Saturday the execution of strategic operations targeting a support ship belonging to US forces near the port of Salalah off the coast of Oman.

Zulfiqari added that Iran remains fully committed to respecting the sovereignty of Oman, while continuing to target the US military presence in the region.

He also said that an earlier Iranian strike on the US base in Al-Kharj, Saudi Arabia, resulted in the destruction of a fuel transport aircraft and severe damage to three additional planes, rendering them inoperable.

According to Zulfiqari, Iranian forces also identified and struck two locations where US personnel were present, including a site in Dubai, using missile and drone attacks. He claimed the operations resulted in heavy losses among US forces.

In parallel, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced that, as part of the 84th wave of Operation True Promise 4, its naval forces carried out a joint attack targeting US and Israeli-linked positions near the port of Shuwaikh in Kuwait and along the coast near Dubai.

Iranian officials said these operations reflect a strategy of sustained response, emphasizing that US movements and bases across the region remain under continuous surveillance and threat.

Kharg Island and Oil Infrastructure as Red Line

Iranian officials emphasized that the country’s energy infrastructure remains a central strategic priority, the Lebanese news platform Al Mayadeen reported on Saturday.

Ebrahim Azizi, head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament, described Kharg Island in a statement as a symbol of Iran’s oil strength and resilience, stating that regional security can only be achieved through the withdrawal of foreign forces.

According to Al Mayadeen, officials also stressed that threats against Iran’s oil sector have failed to disrupt operations, with authorities highlighting continued stability in storage, loading, and export processes.

Iran reiterated that any attack on Kharg Island or its associated facilities would trigger an immediate and decisive response.

Military officials warned that any country used as a launch point for attacks on Iranian oil infrastructure would see its own energy facilities targeted in return.

These warnings come after strikes targeting Kharg Island, which Iranian officials said were launched from locations in the UAE, underscoring Tehran’s readiness to respond across the region.
