In parallel with the war in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army escalated its incursions into cities, towns, and refugee camps throughout the occupied West Bank.

A young man was injured by Israeli army gunfire during Israel’s storming of a village north of Ramallah in the West Bank, as part of a campaign of incursions and raids launched by the Israeli occupation forces on various areas of the West Bank.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces headed to the south and west of the town, where they blocked side entrances with dirt beams.

Palestinian sources reported that a young man was injured by Israeli army gunfire during a military raid in the village of Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiyya, north of Ramallah.

The occupation forces also confiscated vehicles during their storming of the town of Beit Laqya, west of Ramallah, and arrested the owners of those vehicles, according to Palestinian platforms.

Moreover, Israeli forces stormed the city of Salfit in the northern West Bank and the town of Al-Khader, west of Bethlehem.

Israeli occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqiliya, in the northern West Bank, raided homes, and arrested a number of young men, including two brothers from the Ishteiwi family.

This comes after a shooting operation carried out by Palestinian fighters in a car, targeting a gathering of occupation forces at the Imatin junction.

The fighters were able to withdraw toward the town, so Israeli forces launched a large-scale detention campaign in the area.

Al-Jazeera correspondent also reported that the occupation forces stormed the Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, east of the West Bank, and surrounded homes in the Nabulsi neighborhood, in the central area of the camp.

In Jenin, in the northern West Bank, an Al Jazeera correspondent said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Kafr Rai, southwest of the city, and surrounded the house of a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement.

Earlier on Friday, the Israeli army confirmed that a soldier was injured in an armed attack carried out by a Palestinian targeting an army checkpoint near the Dotan settlement, west of the town of Yaabad, southwest of Jenin. The occupation forces rushed to storm the town in search of the attacker.

The Jenin Brigade claimed responsibility for the attack on the Dotan checkpoint west of the city and said it caused deaths and injuries.
