AL-JAZEERA: Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported fierce clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian resistance near Al-Shifa Hospital and in the Al-Nasr neighborhood of central Gaza. Heavy gunfire was heard around the hospital, as Israeli helicopters opened fire toward the sites of confrontation.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli media reported that at least two soldiers were killed and several others wounded, some critically, after an Israeli army tank was struck by an anti-tank missile inside Gaza. Following what was described as a “serious security incident,” the injured soldiers were evacuated to hospitals in Tel Aviv and Beersheba.

ISRAELI MEDIA: Israeli sources reported that several soldiers sustained serious injuries after Palestinian resistance fired an anti-tank missile in Gaza. An Israeli army helicopter landed at Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv carrying wounded soldiers from the incident.

NEW YORK TIMES: The New York Times reported that families of Israeli captives in Gaza appealed to President Donald Trump to pressure Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu into accepting any agreement presented to end the war and secure their release.

WHITE HOUSE: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived at the White House, where he began talks with President Donald Trump focusing on the US plan to end the Gaza war. Expressing optimism, Trump said: “I am confident that peace will soon be achieved in Gaza.”
