The detainees were severely beaten during the army raid on Beit Ummar, according to eyewitness accounts.
Israeli occupation forces have raided several towns and cities in the occupied West Bank, detaining more than 50 Palestinians, including two women. At the same time, illegal settlers targeted Palestinian families and agricultural lands in violent attacks.
Al-Jazeera Arabic reported that occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron (Al-Khalil), raided a large number of homes, turning some into military outposts, and imposed a curfew on the town’s streets.

These raids resulted in the arrest of more than 40 Palestinians from the town, the report stated. The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that 56 Palestinians were detained, including two women.
According to eyewitness accounts, the detainees were severely beaten during the army raid after being held and interrogated at a sports field in the center of the town, which the occupation forces had converted into a field interrogation center.

Beit Ummar was declared a closed military zone and all entrances and exits sealed off, thus preventing the movement of residents.
In the Jenin governorate, Israeli occupation forces arrested several young men in the town of Qabatiya. An Israeli special unit also carried out an infiltration operation into a house in the town and arrested a young man.
In Nablus, occupation forces stormed the grounds of the local hospital and arrested a young man from the town of Beit Furik. Another Palestinian was detained in the village of Salem during a raid on his home.

Israeli occupation forces closed the village of Zububa, west of Jenin, on Thursday, WAFA reported, citing a local official.
Ashraf Maqalda, head of the Zububa village council, said that Israeli bulldozers blocked the village’s main entrances with earth mounds. The army also erected a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ta’anak, west of Jenin, obstructing the movement of Palestinian vehicles, the report stated.

Settler Attacks

Faisal al-Qawasmi said that a group of settlers attacked his parents and brother, resulting in multiple injuries.
Another settler attack today on the village of Taybeh. The problem isn’t “a few radical settlers.” It’s the system that enables, protects, and rewards this violence. There is no accountability. If Palestinians dare defend themselves, they are the ones who will be shot at. pic.twitter.com/oxj9ohcqlq

According to WAFA, Israeli authorities distributed 40 demolition and stop-work orders in the Wadi al-Hummus neighborhood, southeast of Jerusalem. The Jerusalem Governorate said 30 demolition orders were issued for buildings located outside the separation wall, despite the fact that they lie in Area A and hold official Palestinian permits.
On Thursday, another four demolition orders were distributed inside the wall in Areas A and B, in addition to six stop-work orders in Area C, WAFA reported.
