Brigadier General Yahya Saree said Yemen’s latest operation targeted occupied Jerusalem and was coordinated with Palestinian resistance as part of ongoing support for Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces, affiliated with the Ansarallah movement, announced on Sunday that they had launched a precision military operation targeting several sensitive sites in the occupied city of Jerusalem (al-Quds) using a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile equipped with multiple warheads.
In a statement delivered by spokesperson Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the Armed Forces confirmed that the strike had successfully achieved its objectives, describing it as an act of solidarity with the Palestinian people and a direct response to the ongoing genocidal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza.
The Yemeni forces reaffirmed that this operation was part of their continued military support for Gaza, emphasizing their unwavering commitment to stand alongside the Palestinian people against Israeli aggression.

Brigadier General Saree also noted that the group is closely following developments in the Gaza Strip and is in coordination with Palestinian Resistance factions to respond effectively to evolving field conditions in a way that serves the aspirations and demands of the Palestinian people.
According to the statement, the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue their support operations until Israel’s aggression ends and the blockade on Gaza is completely lifted.
The spokesperson stressed that Yemen’s commitment to defending the Palestinian cause “remains steadfast and principled.”
The Israeli occupation army reported early Sunday that a missile had been launched from Yemen toward occupied Palestine, triggering sirens across central areas and west of the Dead Sea. As a precautionary measure, Ben Gurion Airport temporarily suspended air traffic.
