As illegal raids intensified across the West Bank, Israeli forces detained a recently released prisoner days before his wedding, alongside dozens of other arbitrary arrests and illegal Jewish settler attacks.
Israeli occupation forces continue their military campaign in Tubas and the nearby towns of Aqaba and Tayasir in the northern occupied West Bank for the fourth consecutive day.
The escalation comes alongside additional raids across the West Bank, during which four Palestinians, including a woman, were detained. Meanwhile, illegal Israeli Jewish settlers carried out attacks on Palestinian vehicles south of Bethlehem, injuring four people.
According to the Israeli news website Walla, occupation forces arrested around 100 Palestinians on Thursday night in the town of Tammun, Tubas Governorate, and forced more than 20 families from their homes under the pretext of searching for weapons.

Late Friday, Israeli occupation forces withdrew from Al-Far’a refugee camp after raiding it earlier in the day and searching numerous homes. They also pulled back from Tammun following a three-day operation.
Al-Jazeera reported that nearly 190 Palestinians were unlawfully detained during this campaign, most of whom were later released after enduring severe beatings and harsh treatment.
Approximately 200 Palestinians were wounded during the raids, including 80 who required hospitalization, while others received treatment on site.
In separate incursions carried out on Saturday, the Israeli occupation army detained four Palestinians, including a woman, after storming multiple areas across the West Bank.
Local sources said that brothers Muhammad and Ahmed Nabil Ziyoud were also unlawfully detained following a raid on their home in Silat al-Harithiya, west of Jenin.
Occupation troops also raided the home of Iyad Jaradat, destroying its contents. Jaradat, recently freed as part of the prisoner exchange agreement between Hamas and Israel, was scheduled to celebrate his wedding this week.
Sentenced to life, previously he said in an Israeli court:
“We will be freed in a deal with Al-Qassam Brigades.”

In the nearby town of Yamoun, Israeli forces arrested another young man, Muhammad Samoudi, after searching his family’s home.
The official Palestinian news WAFA reported additional raids in the Qalqilya Governorate, where occupation forces detained five Palestinians, including two children and a woman, after storming the city and raiding multiple homes.
Israeli occupation forces also entered the village of Baqa al-Hatab east of Qalqilya, where several homes were searched and two Palestinians were detained.
In the village of Al-Tabaqa, near Hebron (Al-Khalil), Israeli occupation soldiers removed Palestinian flags placed atop a large water tank.
Other West Bank areas experienced military incursions, though no further arrests were reported.
The Palestinian Red Crescent confirmed that illegal Israeli Jewish settlers shot and wounded four Palestinians, including a woman, during an assault on the Khala’il al-Luz area in Bethlehem.
On Friday evening, illegal settlers also pelted Palestinian cars with stones in Wadi Qana, between Salfit and Qalqilya, though no injuries were reported.
These incidents form part of a wider escalation of Israeli military and settler violence in the occupied West Bank. Since October 7, 2023, more than 1,085 Palestinians have been killed, nearly 11,000 wounded, and over 20,500 arrested as Israeli forces expand their campaign parallel to the ongoing war on Gaza.
