A Palestinian was killed after a ramming operation near Bethlehem as the number of Palestinians killed during Eid rose to 33.

Key Developments

  • Four settlers were injured, including two seriously, in a ramming operation at the Gush Etzion junction south of Bethlehem.
  • Israeli forces shot and killed the alleged attacker, identified as Amjad Jawad Abdel Fattah Natsha, 31, from Hebron.
  • Israeli attacks in Gaza killed two Palestinians and wounded dozens more despite the ceasefire agreement.

A Palestinian man was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Sunday after carrying out a ramming operation at the Gush Etzion junction south of Bethlehem, injuring four Israeli settlers.

According to Hebrew media reports, four settlers were wounded in the operation at the Gush Etzion junction, a major settlement bloc south of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Two of the injuries were described as serious, prompting a large deployment of Israeli occupation forces to the area. Israeli troops sealed off the junction and launched extensive searches following the incident.

Initial reports indicated that the attacker struck several settlers with his vehicle before Israeli forces opened fire.

The Palestinian Health Ministry later announced the killing of Amjad Jawad Abdel Fattah Natsha, 31, who was shot by Israeli forces at the junction. Natsha was from the city of Hebron (Al-Khalil) in the southern occupied West Bank.

The Israeli military confirmed receiving reports of a ramming operation at Gush Etzion, stating that the circumstances of the incident were under investigation.

Hamas Responds

The Palestinian movement Hamas praised the operation, describing it as a response to ongoing Israeli crimes against Palestinians, including settlement expansion, military raids and attacks on holy sites.

In a statement, the movement said the operation demonstrated that Palestinians would continue resisting Israeli policies in the occupied territories.

Hamas also mourned Natsha, describing him as a martyr and calling on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank to intensify resistance activities.

Gaza Attacks Continue

The incident in the West Bank came as Israeli attacks continued across the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire that took effect on October 10, 2025.

According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, two Palestinian were killed and 18 others injured by Israeli fire during the previous 24 hours, bringing the number of Palestinians killed during the four days of Eid al-Adha to 33.

More than 130 people were injured during the holiday period.

The latest killing took place when an Israeli drone targeted a gathering of civilians inside the fishermen’s port in Gaza City, killing two people and injuring others, including children.

Additional attacks were reported in the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City, where two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli artillery fire.

In central Gaza, four people, including a woman and a child, were injured after an Israeli drone struck a house in the Bureij refugee camp.

Meanwhile, a quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in Jabaliya refugee camp in northern Gaza.

Hospitals under Pressure

The continuing attacks come as Gaza’s healthcare system faces growing pressure from fuel shortages and infrastructure damage.

Riad Hussein, director of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah, warned that the facility’s operating rooms have been forced to shut down after electricity generators failed due to the prolonged Israeli blockade.

He cautioned that intensive care units, dialysis services and neonatal care departments could also cease functioning if the situation continues.

According to Palestinian figures, Israeli attacks since the ceasefire took effect have killed more than 930 Palestinians and injured over 2,800 others.

Since the start of the genocide in October 2023, nearly 73,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 173,000 wounded in Gaza.
