In an interview with the Palestine Chronicle, Lebanese resistance icon Georges Abdallah sent a powerful message of solidarity to the people of Gaza. Speaking from his home in Lebanon—following 41 years of detention in France—Abdallah praised Gaza’s resilience in the face of ongoing Israeli genocide.

“We can only express our utmost appreciation for Gaza’s endurance. Our Arab people and the world stand with Gaza, a symbol of freedom and dignity,” he told Samaa Abu Sharar, a Lebanon-based independent researcher and journalist, and director of the Majed Abu Sharar Media Foundation.
