Hamas leader in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, states that assurances from mediators and the US President are satisfactory that the war in Gaza has concluded, despite difficulties in retrieving the remains of Israeli prisoners killed in Israeli strikes.
The head of the Hamas movement in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, stated today, Tuesday, that declarations from the mediators and the American President are reassuring regarding the end of the war in the Gaza Strip, affirming Hamas’s seriousness in implementing the ceasefire agreement.
Al-Hayya said, “What we heard from the mediators, and the American President assures us that the war in Gaza has ended.”
He stressed Hamas’s seriousness in retrieving the remains of all Israeli prisoners who were killed by Israeli bombing of the Strip during the two-year war.

The Hamas leader added, “We are encountering extreme difficulty in retrieving the remains, and we continue our attempts. We are completely confident and determined to implement the ceasefire agreement.”
Al-Hayya also stressed Hamas’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement and what was agreed upon with the Palestinian factions. He expressed hope that the volume of aid entering the Strip under the ceasefire agreement would increase.

The White House, on September 29, 2025, called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, followed by a comprehensive program for reconstruction and the reorganization of the political and security situation in the Strip.
On October 9, Hamas and Israel agreed to a ceasefire and prisoner exchange after indirect negotiations in Sharm El Sheikh under US sponsorship and the mediation of Qatar, Egypt, and Turkiye.

I agree with kronikdenny, but there are also objective realities that israel can no more escape than could White Apartheid South Africa… it is clear that israel loathes the ceasefire since it means zionism is DEAD… it is dead because israel can NEVER expand now!… Trump’s Plan LOCKS israel in to a series of stages that will vastly change what israel has been till now… as stage follows stage, it is like a conveyor-belt that israel CANNOT get OFF of… and Hamas-Plestine has the KEY to the LOCK israel is IN… ALL Hamas has to do is follow through on each point or stage in the Plan, and point 19 indicates usa will not oppose the Palestinian State… israel tried to escape..it FAILED!
