Hundreds of Palestinians have been killed and wounded overnight and on Friday morning in the ongoing Israeli bombing of several areas in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestine Chronicle correspondent reported that Israel’s artillery targeted the vicinity of the shelters for displaced people in Jabaliya, north of the Gaza Strip.

33 dead Palestinians reportedly arrived at the Nasser Complex in Khan Yunis during the past 24 hours.

Israeli occupation forces also fired smoke shells east of Khan Yunis in conjunction with the continued bulldozing and destruction of residential homes in the town of Bani Suhaila.

Meanwhile, Israeli helicopters fired intensely east of the town of Al-Qarara, east of Khan Yunis, and east of Juhr al-Dik, in the central Gaza Strip.

The official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that most of the casualties were children and women, noting that ambulances were unable to reach them, as a result of the continued bombing.

In the Shejaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, Israeli warplanes reportedly destroyed the popular stall market, in addition to ten inhabited homes, resulting in nine dead and 25 wounded.

In the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City, the Israeli artillery shelled, for the second time, the Fahmi Al-Jarjawi School, where four Palestinians were killed and nine wounded.

The Al-Sahaba area in the Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City was subjected to missile bombardment from warplanes and artillery from tanks, which led to the death of 20 Palestinians and the wounding of dozens more.

Israeli occupation forces also arrested 25 citizens between the ages of 15 to 55 years, after forcing them to strip to their underwear.

In the Al-Nasr and Sheikh Radwan area, north of the city, a number of Palestinians were killed after the neighborhood and its residential areas were exposed to heavy fire from drones, missile strikes from Israeli warplanes, and artillery shelling.

WAFA cited eyewitnesses as reporting that, in the Palestine Square area in Gaza City, Israeli soldiers carried out field executions, executing at least five Palestinians, including an elderly man. They also arrested 15 Palestinians, after forcing them to strip to their underwear.

In the Jabaliya camp in the northern Gaza Strip, a number of Palestinians were killed and wounded, as the occupation warplanes bombed several residential areas in the vicinity of the Kamal Adwan and Al-Awda hospitals.

Moreover, Israeli tanks stormed the school square belonging to UNRWA in Jabaliya and opened indiscriminate fire at civilians sheltered there, causing dozens of casualties. The occupation army also detained dozens of displaced people, including children.

In the Sheikh Zayed Towers area in the town of Beit Lahia, artillery bombed with dozens of shells a number of buildings, residential apartments and surrounding houses, which led to a large number of martyrs and dozens of injuries.

According to Gaza’s Ministry of Health, 18,787 Palestinians have been killed and more than 50,897 wounded in Israel’s ongoing genocide in Gaza starting on October 7. Palestinian and international estimates say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
