Israeli occupation forces carried out airstrikes, artillery attacks, detonations and arson across south Lebanon on Tuesday, continuing violations of the ceasefire agreement.

Attacks across South Lebanon

The Israeli military continued its attacks across south Lebanon on Tuesday, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, detonations and arson in several villages and towns, according to Al Mayadeen.

An Israeli detonation was reported in the town of Markaba, while an Israeli helicopter conducted sweeps and opened machine-gun fire toward the outskirts of Taybeh.

Israeli warplanes also struck the town of Al-Mansouri, which was additionally targeted by artillery fire.

In Yater, an Israeli helicopter dropped a sonic bomb, while another detonation was reported in a village in the Bint Jbeil district.

Israeli occupation forces also carried out a detonation on the outskirts of Majdal Zoun.

Fields Set Ablaze, Explosions in Several Towns

Israeli in forces set fire to agricultural fields between the towns of Haris and Haddatha, according to Al Mayadeen’s correspondent.

Further detonations were reported in Mays al-Jabal, Ainata and Zawtar al-Sharqiya. Israeli forces also detonated a house on the outskirts of Haris.

The attacks followed repeated Israeli military operations throughout south Lebanon involving airstrikes, drone attacks, artillery shelling, incursions and the destruction of homes and infrastructure.

Continuing Ceasefire Violations

The latest attacks came amid continuing Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, with south Lebanese villages subjected to near-daily military operations.

On Sunday, Israeli forces carried out demolitions in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah and Kounine, as well as on the outskirts of Al-Mansouri.

Israeli aircraft also struck Ali al-Taher hill and its surroundings and the vicinity of al-Dabsha hill toward Kafr Roumman, while artillery simultaneously targeted the area.

Additional demolitions were reported in Haddatha and Taybeh.

In Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, Israeli forces were also reported to have constructed a new barrier, carried out demolitions and arson, destroyed homes and uprooted or damaged trees.

According to figures released by Lebanon’s Ministry of Health, Israeli attacks have killed 8,915 people and wounded 30,543 others in Lebanon since October 8, 2023.

Of those, 4,348 were killed and 12,307 wounded during the escalation that began on March 2, 2026, through August 21.

Israeli military operations have continued despite the ceasefire, with attacks repeatedly targeting towns, villages, agricultural land, homes and infrastructure across south Lebanon.
