Israeli forces stormed several West Bank cities, detaining dozens, demolishing homes, and alleging the arrest of a Palestinian cell accused of preparing rockets.

Israeli Occupation Forces stormed the city of Nablus, north of the occupied West Bank, at dawn on Friday. In addition, they fired Energa missiles at a house during their raid on the city of Ramallah.

In Nablus, five Palestinian citizens were detained by occupation forces after their homes were raided and searched. The arrests included two former prisoners together with others from the Balata al-Balad area, east of Nablus, Al-Jazeera reported, citing local sources.

In the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, Israeli forces dispatched military reinforcements to the town of Surda, north of Ramallah, where they surrounded a house inside the town. During this operation, Israeli forces fired live bullets and Energa shells, which caused parts of the house to burn. After they detained a citizen from inside the house, Israeli forces blew up large parts of the house.

At the same time, the Israeli occupation army announced the arrest of a Palestinian cell in the city of Ramallah, which it claimed was “manufacturing and preparing missiles to be launched toward settlements.”

An Israeli military spokesman said the operation, carried out with the participation of the Shin Bet security service and the Yamam special unit, resulted in the discovery of “dozens of rockets, explosive devices, and explosive materials,” along with a lathe he said was used to manufacture rockets.

According to an army statement, occupation forces surrounded a building in the village of Ni’ma, northwest of Ramallah, where three young men were holed up. They were then released and arrested. The army added that two rockets were prepared for launch without a warhead, and that the materials found at the site were destroyed.

The town of Beituna, west of Ramallah, was also stormed by another occupation force. Here, a young man was arrested following his home being besieged. A number of shops were also raided and their doors broken down. In addition, Israeli occupation forces raided a café on Rakab Street, causing extensive damage to the establishment.

In Bethlehem, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its medical teams responded to a call to assist a young man injured in the Dheisheh refugee camp, south of the Governorate, after he was shot in the leg. He was then transported to the hospital for treatment.

In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces carried out an arrest campaign in the town of Burquin, west of the city.

In a related development, on Friday, the Israeli occupation forces announced that they had detained more than 75 Palestinians across the occupied West Bank over the past week.

At the same time as the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the Israeli army and settlers have escalated attacks in the occupied West Bank, including in East Jerusalem. This has resulted in the deaths of at least 1,042 Palestinians, causing approximately 10,160 Palestinians to be injured and arresting more than 19,000, according to the Palestinian Government Liaison Office.
