Fourteen Israeli fighter jets fired 40 missiles on Sanaa, hitting sites near the presidential palace, according to Israeli media.
The Israeli military announced it had carried out airstrikes in Yemen, coinciding with reports of powerful explosions in the capital, Sanaa.
The Yemeni news agency SABA confirmed three strikes near the Attan area in southwest Sanaa, while Ansarallah-affiliated media described the assault as a “Zionist-American aggression” targeting civilian areas.
Israeli media said the presidential palace in Sanaa was among the primary targets.

Israel’s Channel 14 reported that a military site within the palace complex, as well as fuel depots and two power stations, were struck. For its part, Channel 13 added that a missile base near the palace was also hit.
According to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation, 14 fighter jets took part in the raid, firing around 40 missiles.
Israel’s Channel 12 reported that the army had named the operation “Neve Tzedek” (“Prophet of Justice”). Israeli Army Radio quoted a military source as saying the attacks had ended and were not intended as assassinations, but rather a “message” to the Houthis that “positions of power are within our sights.”
The Israeli Ministry of Defense said Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Israel Katz, and Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir monitored the strikes from military headquarters.
Ansarallah officials, however, said the raids deliberately targeted civilian sites, including the oil company’s station on 60th Street.
Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the group’s Political Bureau, accused Israel of “deliberately harming civilians in Yemen, just as it does in Gaza.” Another Ansarallah official told Al-Jazeera that the presidential headquarters was empty and no longer in use, stressing that populated residential areas were struck instead.

He vowed retaliation, saying, “We will double our operations and reach deeper into the entity. We have greater military options than what we have so far revealed.”
The strikes followed escalating crossfire between Yemen and Israel. On Friday, Israeli media reported that defense systems intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, prompting the suspension of air traffic at Ben Gurion Airport. Ambulance services said several Israelis were injured while rushing to shelters, as shrapnel from the intercepted missile fell on a town inside Israel.
Israeli Army Radio later reported that a military investigation confirmed the missile carried a fissionable warhead. Hours before Sunday’s raids, the Israeli army had also announced the interception of a drone launched from Yemen, which triggered sirens in settlements near the Gaza Strip.
On July 27, Ansarallah declared an escalation of its naval campaign, pledging to target all ships linked to companies trading with Israeli ports, regardless of nationality, “in support of Gaza, which has been subjected to a genocidal war since October 7, 2023.”

From what i read, it basically means
