Baghaei Accuses US of Targeting Civilian Infrastructure

ESMAIL BAGHAEI:

• Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei accused US forces of deliberately bombing civilian water infrastructure in Sirik, Hormozgan province.
• Baghaei said two water reservoirs were destroyed and claimed the facilities had supplied drinking water to more than 20,000 residents across 10 villages.
• He argued that the attacks targeted a vital lifeline for the Iranian population and said the United States should be held accountable for strikes on civilian infrastructure.

Israeli Strike Targets Majdal Zoun

AL-MAYADEEN: Al-Mayadeen’s correspondent reported that an Israeli airstrike targeted the town of Majdal Zoun in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon.

MASOUD PEZESHKIAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said vital infrastructure represents the lifeblood of the population and that threats to target such facilities are not a sign of strength but rather an indication of weakness and confusion.

• Israeli warplanes attacked the town of Burj Qalawi in southern Lebanon.
