UPDATE: According to a Palestinian Ministry of Health statement on Thursday, the number of Palestinians killed by the Israeli army in the occupied West Bank has risen to 18.

The ministry indicated that 14 Palestinians were killed in a raid by Israeli occupation forces on the city and refugee camp of Jenin; one killed in Beit Fajjar south of Bethlehem; one in Dura, south of Hebron, one in the Amari camp near Ramallah, and one in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.

This takes the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank since October 7 to 181 and the number of wounded to over 2,300.

Fourteen people were killed and at least 20 were injured as Israeli occupation forces stormed the occupied West Bank city of Jenin and its refugee camp on Thursday morning.

A WAFA correspondent said that a large unit of the Israeli army, accompanied by a military bulldozer, stormed the camp from several directions on Thursday morning, a few hours after another military raid at night.

Meanwhile, Israeli snipers mounted the roofs of several buildings, while the bulldozer destroyed the streets and infrastructure in the camp and its surroundings.

Violent confrontations broke out at the scene between Palestinian Resistance groups and Israeli invading soldiers, resulting so far in the death of a young man and the wounding of at least four Palestinians, two of them seriously.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that the occupation forces targeted an ambulance in Jenin and wounded one of its paramedics with a bullet in the back. Moreover, Israeli soldiers are still preventing medical teams from entering the camp to reach the wounded.

According to WAFA, the occupation forces are still sending reinforcements to the city and camp of Jenin from all directions, supported by military bulldozers and drones.

This is a developing story.
