A number of Palestinians were shot and injured, while dozens suffered from tear-gas suffocation, on Friday morning, during violent clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian youths in the Beit Sira village, west of the central occupied West Bank district of Ramallah.

Locals told Ma’an that violent clashes broke out after Israeli forces raided the home of Youssef Raed Mahmoud Anqawi, 20, who was shot and killed after a vehicle he was riding in, slipped on the wet road, hitting the soldiers’ military vehicle.

Another Palestinian, Amir Mahmoud Jumaa Darraj, 20, was also shot and killed by Israeli forces following the accident, while a third youth was injured and identified as Haitham Bassem Jumaa Alqam, 20.

Sources mentioned that Israeli forces repeatedly fired rubber-coated steel bullets and tear-gas bombs in the Beit Sira village, which resulted in several Palestinians sustaining various injuries and dozens of youths suffering from tear-gas inhalation.
