Israel carried out a series of new airstrikes and ground operations across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing four Palestinians as ceasefire violations continue to accumulate.

Four Palestinians were killed on Thursday morning in separate Israeli attacks in the northern, central, and southern Gaza Strip, as Israeli forces carried out renewed air and artillery strikes across the enclave.

According to Al-Jazeera’s correspondent, Israeli warplanes launched intensive air raids on Rafah, in southern Gaza, while military helicopters conducted heavy gunfire during demolition operations east of Khan Yunis, beyond what Israel defines as the yellow line.

Local Palestinian media also reported artillery shelling targeting areas east of Khan Yunis.

In northern and central Gaza, Israeli forces carried out a new round of airstrikes beyond the yellow line east of Gaza City. The raids reportedly targeted the neighborhoods of Al-Tuffah and Al-Sheja’iyya.

Casualties and Claims

Emergency services in Gaza confirmed two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded in a bombing in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.

Medical sources also reported one person killed in an airstrike on the Maghazi refugee camp and another killed in Bani Suheila, east of Khan Yunis, within the Yellow Line.

The Israeli army said its Nahal Brigade assassinated a Palestinian fighter in an airstrike in Rafah, adding that forces killed three others and arrested two people in the same operation.

Ceasefire Violations Continue

Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement reached with Hamas on October 10, under Qatari, Egyptian, and Turkish mediation, with US involvement.

Since the truce began, Israel has violated the agreement more than 497 times, killing 342 Palestinians, according to the Gaza Government Media Office.

The agreement halted the war Israel launched on October 7, 2013, which resulted in more than 69,000 Palestinians killed, over 170,000 wounded, and widespread destruction affecting approximately 90% of civilian infrastructure.
