Ceasefire Toll Rises
The Health Ministry said Israeli violations of the ceasefire, which took effect on October 11, 2025, have now killed 1,066 Palestinians and wounded 3,445 others.
It added that 797 bodies have been recovered since the ceasefire began, while thousands of victims remain trapped beneath rubble or lying in roads that ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach.
The latest figures bring the total death toll from Israel’s genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, to 73,090, with 173,553 others injured.

Destruction across Gaza
The ceasefire agreement followed two years of Israel’s mass extermination of Palestinians, which caused widespread destruction across the Gaza Strip and destroyed and damaged around 90 percent of the enclave’s civilian infrastructure.
The United Nations has estimated that reconstruction costs could reach around $70 billion, as Palestinians continue to face severe shortages of housing, medical care, clean water and basic services.
