Israeli Forces Shell Gaza Overnight

Israeli tanks shelled northern Gaza last night. No injuries were reported.

Earlier yesterday, Israeli sources claimed that an Israeli force near the border town of Natif Hatsra was targeted by gunfire.

An Israeli spokesperson said an Israeli force was fired at while doing some work at the Gaza border without reporting any injuries.

Two weeks ago, Israel launched dozens of airstrikes against the Gaza Strip after a local made rocket was fired into southern Israel.

The Israeli attacks on Gaza seems to be part of a new strategy proposed by the new Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman.
