Israel Orders Mass Evacuations
The Israeli occupation army issued urgent evacuation warnings early Wednesday to residents of roughly 30 towns and villages in southern Lebanon, claiming it had detected Hezbollah activity in those areas, Al-Jazeera reported.
Israeli army spokesman Avichai Adraee called on residents in multiple communities—including Rabaa Thalathin, Markaba, Houla, Shaqra, Majdal Selm, Tayri, Safad al-Batikh, Jamejma and Bani Hayyan—to immediately leave their homes and move at least one kilometer away.
A second warning later expanded the evacuation order to additional towns, including Mathla, Yater, Kafra, Siddiqin, Zibqin, Qana, Majdal Zoun, and Al-Ramadiya.

Adraee claimed that Hezbollah’s activities in these areas were forcing the Israeli army to “act forcefully.”
The Israeli military also issued a separate warning that a building in the Haret Hreik area of Beirut’s southern suburb could be targeted.
Deadly Strikes Hit Mount Lebanon and Baalbek
Israeli airstrikes continued across Lebanon at dawn Wednesday, killing at least 11 people and injuring 23 others, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
Six people were killed and eight injured in strikes on the towns of Aramoun and Saadiyat in Mount Lebanon.
Local reports indicated that a four-story residential building in the Aramoun area of the Aley district was targeted, while another raid struck a residential apartment in Saadiyat.
In eastern Lebanon, an Israeli airstrike on a residential complex in Baalbek killed at least five people and wounded 15 others, with several individuals reported missing beneath the rubble.
The attack targeted a four-story building in the Al-Asira neighborhood of the city.
These raids came a day after earlier Israeli airstrikes across Lebanon that reportedly killed around 50 people and wounded hundreds.
Hezbollah Announces Multiple Attacks
The Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah has announced that it carried out a series of military operations targeting Israeli sites and troop deployments in response to ongoing Israeli attacks.
Hezbollah Hits Multiple Israeli Tanks as Rocket Retaliation Continues
According to a statement released Wednesday, Hezbollah launched a rocket barrage targeting a gathering of Israeli forces at the Metula site near the Lebanese border.
The resistance also said it had conducted 13 operations the previous day, targeting Israeli military bases and positions across northern Israel.
Among the targets were the Ramat David airbase, where Hezbollah said it struck radar sites and control rooms using attack drones, and the Meron air operations monitoring base.
Additional strikes targeted the Nafah base—headquarters of the Habshan 210 division—in the occupied Syrian Golan, as well as the Haifa naval base and other military positions.
Hezbollah also reported shooting down an Israeli drone over the skies of Nabatieh.
In ground confrontations along the border, the resistance said it targeted several Israeli Merkava tanks with guided missiles near the Samaqa site and the Tel al-Nahas area on the outskirts of Kfarkela, forcing Israeli forces to evacuate casualties under heavy smoke cover.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) confirmed that Israeli occupation soldiers briefly crossed into Lebanese territory near the villages of Markaba, Adaysseh, Kfarkela and Ramia.
According to UNIFIL, Israeli forces withdrew south of the Blue Line shortly afterward.
