During the meeting, Abdollahi reportedly said Iranian forces possess the strategic plans, equipment, and weapons necessary to confront hostile acts and rapidly respond to any aggression or “strategic mistake.”
He also stressed that all branches of the Iranian armed forces remain in a high state of defensive and offensive readiness.
‘Ready to Defend Iran’
According to Iranian state television, Abdollahi told Mojtaba Khamenei that Iran possesses plans to confront hostile actions by the United States and Israel.

Mojtaba Khamenei reportedly praised Iranian military personnel and issued new directives aimed at continuing military operations and confronting adversaries “firmly.”

The meeting marked one of the few official references to Mojtaba Khamenei since his appointment as Supreme Leader on March 9 following the killing of his father, former Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, during the Israeli-American attack on Tehran on February 28.
His limited public appearances since assuming leadership had fueled speculation regarding his health.
Earlier this month, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said he had recently met with Mojtaba Khamenei for two and a half hours, dismissing speculation surrounding his condition.
Iran Says Mossad Cells Dismantled
Separately, Iranian state television reported that Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence dismantled two alleged cells linked to Israel’s Mossad in West Azerbaijan and Kerman provinces.
According to the ministry, one of the alleged operatives was killed during clashes with Iranian security forces.
Authorities said the cells were planning attacks on sensitive sites and assassinations in Tehran.
Iranian officials also announced the seizure of small drones, pistols fitted with silencers, rifles, ammunition, and protective equipment.

The developments come amid continued military tensions in the Strait of Hormuz.
Earlier Saturday, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy warned that any targeting of Iranian oil tankers or commercial vessels would trigger violent attacks against US bases and warships in the region.
Meanwhile, commanders from the IRGC Aerospace Force stated that Iranian missiles and drones remain locked onto American military sites and enemy vessels awaiting launch orders.
