Israeli fire kills a child in Gaza as violations and settler attacks escalate across Palestinian territories amid ongoing war.
Key Developments
- Israeli gunfire kills child in Khan Yunis inside tent sheltering displaced family.
- Ceasefire violations continue daily, with hundreds killed and thousands wounded since October.
- Settler attacks and arrests intensify across West Bank, injuring Palestinians and damaging property.
Child Killed in Khan Yunis
Israeli gunfire killed a 13-year-old Palestinian boy on Tuesday in the southern Gaza city of Khan Yunis, in what medical sources described as another violation of the ceasefire.
According to the Anadolu news agency, the body of Khaled Saif al-Din Suleiman Arada was brought to Nasser Hospital after he was struck by a bullet while sheltering inside a tent. Medical sources said the bullet penetrated the tent and killed him instantly.
The killing comes amid a pattern of ongoing Israeli violations across the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire in place since October.
According to Palestinian Health Ministry data cited by Anadolu, at least 677 Palestinians have been killed and 1,813 others wounded as a result of repeated violations since the truce began.
These incidents include gunfire, shelling, and other forms of military activity affecting populated areas, particularly where displaced civilians have gathered.
The broader context remains one of widespread devastation following Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which began in October 2023.
Palestinian figures indicate that more than 72,000 people have been killed and approximately 172,000 wounded, while the majority of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure has been destroyed.
The persistence of these violations suggests that the ceasefire has not translated into sustained protection for civilians on the ground.

Internal Security Operation
In a separate development, a Palestinian resistance-affiliated security unit announced that it had foiled an attempt to target one of its leaders.
The unit, known as the “Rada” force, said it arrested two individuals allegedly involved in a coordinated effort with Israeli intelligence. Weapons and technical equipment were seized during the operation, while two other suspects reportedly escaped.
According to the statement, preliminary investigations revealed information described as “important” regarding communication channels and coordination mechanisms between the group and Israeli intelligence.
The unit said further details would be disclosed following the completion of investigations, indicating that additional arrests or actions could follow.

Settler Attacks Across the West Bank
In the occupied West Bank, attacks by Israeli settlers continued on Tuesday, resulting in injuries and property damage in multiple locations.
Near the village of Beit Imerin, northwest of Nablus, three Palestinians were injured after settlers attacked them while they were traveling in two vehicles. Local sources said the attackers assaulted the individuals and damaged their cars before leaving the scene.
In the southern West Bank, settlers set fire to a Palestinian home in the village of al-Tuwani in Masafer Yatta, according to local activists, who also reported racist graffiti sprayed on the walls of the house.
Separate incidents in the Bethlehem area saw five Palestinian workers injured in two ramming attacks carried out by settlers. Israeli forces also detained several workers attempting to reach their workplaces.
These incidents are part of a broader increase in settler violence across the West Bank, where Palestinian communities continue to report frequent attacks targeting homes, vehicles, and individuals.
Alongside settler violence, Israeli forces carried out a series of raids and arrests across the occupied West Bank.
Local reports indicated that dozens of Palestinians were detained in various areas, including towns in the Bethlehem region such as al-Khader and Beit Fajjar.
Since the beginning of the genocide in Gaza, violence in the West Bank has intensified significantly. Palestinian data indicate that more than 1,100 Palestinians have been killed, around 11,700 injured, and approximately 22,000 arrested.

” the Jewish State ” …
it’s time to reject that Jewish State. No more fear of being labeled antisemitic for only condemning their actions. That Jewish State likes to; murder children, rape male prisoners: men AND boys…shoot babies in the face and head, likes to torture 1 year old infants by putting out cigarettes on that baby, and driving a sharp object, maybe a nail, into that infant’s leg in order to force a confession from its innocent father.
this is what we get with that Jewish State? really? keep it. To hell with that Jewish State. Clearly those Jewish people are not good, decent people. They don’t represent Jewry, they represent Zionism/Judaism. Want to protect Jewry?
end Israel.
