At least 19 Palestinians, including children and infants, were killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza City, Rafah, and central refugee camps.
Israeli forces continued their deadly bombardment across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, killing at least 19 Palestinians, including several children, and wounding many others, according to medical and local sources.
In Gaza City, Israeli helicopters intensified strikes at dawn, targeting tents in the central Yarmouk area. A woman and a toddler were killed, and several others were wounded, the Anadolu news agency reported. Later, shelling on tents of displaced families near Yarmouk Street killed two more Palestinians, one of them an infant.
Israeli warplanes also struck Al-Nafaq Street, which connects central Gaza City to its northeastern districts, while heavy artillery targeted the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. In Sheja’iyya, east of the city, an airstrike killed two people and caused multiple injuries.
In the central Gaza Strip, violence spread to several refugee camps. Israeli gunfire on houses in the Bureij camp killed a child, while an attack on a crowd in the camp left others wounded.

North of the Nuseirat camp, one civilian was killed and several were injured when Israeli forces opened fire on aid seekers. In Deir al-Balah, drones targeted a house, injuring residents.
Further south, in Rafah, Israeli forces killed two Palestinians as they waited to receive humanitarian aid.
Ongoing Genocide
Since reneging on the ceasefire on March 18, Israel has continued its bloody aerial bombardment across the Gaza Strip, killing and wounding thousands of Palestinians.
Starting on October 7, 2023, the Israeli military, with American support, launched a genocidal war against the people of Gaza. This campaign has so far resulted in the deaths of more than 64,500 Palestinians, with more than 163,000 wounded. The vast majority of the population has been displaced, and the destruction of infrastructure is unprecedented since World War II. Thousands of people are still missing.
In addition to the military assault, the Israeli blockade has caused a man-made famine, leading to the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians—mostly children—with hundreds of thousands more at risk.
Despite widespread international condemnation, little has been done to hold Israel accountable. The nation is currently under investigation for genocide by the International Court of Justice, while accused war criminals, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are officially wanted by the International Criminal Court.
