Tuesday’s attacks on Gaza left 27 dead, adding to tens of thousands killed since the start of the genocide in October 2023.

At least 27 Palestinians, including women and children, were killed on Tuesday in ongoing Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. The Israeli occupation has intensified attacks on homes and tents sheltering displaced families in the central and southern regions, while the death toll from famine has risen to 303.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital confirmed the killing of a woman and her child in an Israeli strike on a building housing displaced persons west of Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza. Al-Awda Hospital reported that a man and his wife were killed when a drone bombed a tent west of the Nuseirat refugee camp.

The hospital also received the bodies of three Palestinians killed and others injured, while waiting for aid near the Netzarim junction. In another drone strike on a tent in Nuseirat, several people were injured.

In Gaza City, Israeli forces have been carrying out an intense bombardment for several days, particularly in the Zaytoun neighborhood. Al-Shifa Medical Complex said one Palestinian was killed and others were wounded in an attack on an apartment building on Al-Jalaa Street.

Two more Palestinians were killed in a separate strike on the Zaytoun neighborhood, while seven were killed in an airstrike on a home in Al-Sabra, south of the city. A separate bombing of another apartment on Al-Jalaa Street killed one person and injured several others.

The Al-Shati refugee camp was also targeted, resulting in injuries, and a child was killed in an airstrike on the Saftawi area, north of Gaza City. Airstrikes on the Bureij refugee camp caused additional injuries.

In the south, Nasser Medical Complex said six Palestinians were killed when Israeli forces shelled a tent for displaced persons in Mawasi al-Qarara, north of Khan Yunis. The dead included a man, his wife, and their three children.

In the north, a medical source at Sheikh Radwan Clinic confirmed that a Palestinian was killed and others were injured when Israeli drones bombed homes in Jabalia al-Nazla.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported three more deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, raising the toll from Israeli-imposed starvation to 303, including 117 children.

Hospital sources said that on Monday alone, 61 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, including 14 people seeking aid and five journalists. Among the journalists was Al Jazeera photographer Mohammed Salama, killed in a bombing that struck Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

With full American backing, Israel has continued its genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, through mass killings, starvation, destruction, and forced displacement, defying international appeals and rulings by the International Court of Justice to end the assault.

So far, the genocide has killed 62,744 Palestinians, wounded 158,259—most of them women and children—left more than 9,000 missing, and displaced hundreds of thousands.
