Iran launches waves 76–77 targeting Israeli sites and US bases, while Hezbollah escalates cross-border attacks in the northern front.

Key Developments

  • Israeli assessments warn that missile fire from Iran will continue daily despite the ongoing war.
  • Hezbollah intensifies cross-border operations, targeting Israeli forces and settlements.

Expanded Strikes

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced on Monday the launch of the 77th wave of its ongoing military operation, “True Promise 4,” targeting Israeli positions across northern, central, and southern areas of occupied Palestine.

The IRGC said the attacks were carried out using “precision and heavy missiles, along with offensive drones,” adding that the operations were conducted under the slogan “Ya Haidar al-Karrar,” in tribute to resistance figures Abu Obeida, Ali Mohammad Naini, and Mohammad Afif.

In its statement, the IRGC also confirmed that US military bases in the region were targeted, including Ali Al-Salem, Al-Kharj, and Al-Dhafra, using solid-fuel Zulfiqar missiles and attack drones. The operations, it said, were executed “with complete success.”

The statement stressed that “contradictory statements by US President Donald Trump will not affect the course of the battle,” adding that the psychological warfare employed by Washington “is no longer effective.”

It further noted that “Iran’s resilience and resistance have led to confusion within the enemy and increased doubts in its calculations and plans,” describing this resilience as “the key to victory.”

The IRGC added that “the enemy’s retreat will continue, supported by the people and their mobilization, alongside the continuation of military operations, until final victory is achieved.”

Escalation Signals

Earlier, the IRGC had announced the 76th wave of attacks as part of efforts aimed at the “continued dismantling of the military infrastructure of hostile forces.”

That wave included strikes on US-linked facilities such as Al-Dhafra, Victoria Base, the US Fifth Fleet, and Prince Sultan Air Base, using Qiam liquid-fuel missiles and Zulfiqar solid-fuel missiles.

Israeli military infrastructure was also targeted in Ashkelon, Tel Aviv, Haifa, the Gush Dan area, and Ashdod, using heavy guided missiles and Khaybar Shekan missiles.

According to the IRGC, the “continuous launch of missiles and drones, combined with the ability to bypass advanced defense systems and achieve effective strikes on strategic targets, refutes claims by US and Israeli officials regarding the destruction of Iran’s missile and naval capabilities.”

Iran Warnings

Meanwhile, a senior Iranian security and political source told Al Mayadeen that Tehran remains fully prepared to respond to any attacks on its infrastructure.

“Iran’s readiness to deliver severe, harsh, and comprehensive strikes in response to any attacks on its infrastructure and vital facilities remains intact and at full readiness,” the source said.

The source added: “We are not concerned with conflicting media campaigns launched against us from any American or international side,” emphasizing that “our decision is firm and our vision is clear, and neither is affected by political or media pressure.”

He warned that Iran is aware that “the enemy continues its aerial aggression on our territory,” cautioning that any action targeting infrastructure, “whether small, symbolic, or demonstrative, will be met with a strong and doubled response without hesitation.”

The source stressed that Iranian military assessments of the battlefield have not changed, describing Tehran’s commitment to respond in kind as “firm.”

He added that attacks on infrastructure are “doomed to fail,” citing both the country’s geographic scale and the design of its infrastructure networks, which ensure operational continuity, particularly in electricity distribution.

The remarks come as tensions escalated following US threats to strike Iran’s energy infrastructure if Tehran did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, a deadline that was later postponed by five days.

Iran has warned that any such strikes would be met with retaliation targeting energy facilities, economic infrastructure, and industrial assets linked to the United States and its allies in the region.

Latest from Hezbollah

Meanwhile, the Lebanese front has witnessed a continued escalation.

Hezbollah announced multiple operations targeting Israeli forces and positions along the Lebanese-Palestinian border.

Resistance fighters launched rocket barrages at Israeli troop concentrations in Taybeh, Biyad al-Faqa’ani, Khillet al-Aqsa, Yaroun, and the Misgav Am site, in addition to artillery shelling targeting Israeli forces in the Maroun al-Ras area.

The resistance also targeted the Beit Hillel barracks and the Ramot Naftali base with rocket fire.

As part of prior warnings issued to settlements in northern occupied Palestine, the resistance struck Kiryat Shmona five times in separate operations.

Earlier in the day, the group carried out additional attacks targeting Israeli troop concentrations, military sites, and settlements across the northern front.

According to Israel’s Alma Research Center, Hezbollah has launched 865 attack waves against Israel since March 2, with data showing a sharp increase in the scale and frequency of operations in recent days.

Hezbollah also announced that it carried out 63 operations on Sunday alone, targeting Israeli positions and forces along the border.
