Dozens of Palestinians were killed and injured in two new massacres carried out by the Israeli army in the besieged Gaza Strip.

In the early afternoon, a violent Israeli bombardment targeted a residential square in the Al-Faluga area, in the Jabalia refugee camp, killing and wounding dozens.

This comes only one day following an Israeli massacre in Jabalia on Tuesday, which left at least 400 people killed and wounded.

According to the Palestinian news agency WAFA, the initial toll is estimated at dozens of casualties, but the number could increase as the camp is crowded with hundreds of displaced people.

A few hours later, an Israeli bombardment targeted a bakery on al-Nasr Street, in Gaza City.

WAFA correspondent said Israeli warplanes fired missiles at a gathering of people who were queuing in front of a bakery, killing and wounding dozens.

The bombing also targeted ambulances and medical teams who were helping and transporting the dead and wounded to hospitals.

Israel has, thus far, killed over 8,796 Palestinians in Gaza, including 3,648 children and 2,290 women, and wounded more than 23,000. Palestinian Ministry of Health reports and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.

Despite a massive Israeli military buildup around the Gaza borders and sporadic infiltrations on the outskirts of the besieged Strip, Palestinian Resistance continues to repel Israeli attacks.

To justify its military failure, the Israeli army continues to pound civilian homes throughout the Gaza Strip with new massacres reported everywhere in the besieged enclave.

Gaza has been under a tight Israeli military siege since 2007, following a democratic election in occupied Palestine, the results of which were rejected by Tel Aviv and Washington.
