Egypt’s Abdelatty stressed that Cairo sees Trump’s plan as a starting point but that further engagement is required.
The White House announced Thursday that US President Donald Trump is awaiting Hamas’ response to his proposed plan to end the war in Gaza, while Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty warned that the initiative contains significant loopholes that must be addressed.
A White House official told Fox News that the Gaza ceasefire proposal is “acceptable,” adding, “We expect Hamas to accept it so we can move forward toward a more peaceful Middle East.”

The official also stressed that Trump had drawn a “red line” for Hamas, saying his team had worked hard on the plan, which has already “received global acclaim.”
He added that Trump wants Hamas’s reply soon: “We expect and hope it will accept the plan proposed by Witkoff.”
Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty said Cairo supports Trump’s vision, describing it as feasible if there is political will.
However, he emphasized that “there are many gaps that we need to fill” in the plan. He further declared that Hamas would have “no role in the future of Gaza,” claiming there was “complete agreement among Arabs, Muslims, and even Hamas members themselves” on that point.
At a Paris conference, Abdelatty stressed that Cairo sees Trump’s plan as a starting point but that further engagement is required.
Meanwhile, in an interview with One America News Network, Trump claimed that “nobody has done what I have done,” boasting that he had resolved seven wars and that Gaza could be the eighth.
He also said that “The Middle East could very well be solved after 3,000 years.”
“We are going to have more than Gaza, we are going to have Gaza plus overall peace, and that will be an amazing achievement,” Trump boasted.
Revolt Against the Enemy’s Plan: How Trump’s Proposal Seeks To Liquidate Palestine
On September 29, the White House released details of the ceasefire plan.
The initiative envisions Gaza as a “weapon-free zone,” overseen by a new international body under Trump’s direct authority, and backed by regional and global guarantees.
The plan demands the release of all Israeli captives held by Hamas within 72 hours of approval, in return for hundreds of Palestinian detainees held in Israeli jails.
It also calls for the disarmament of Palestinian resistance groups and a phased Israeli withdrawal, with Gaza placed under a technocratic administration supervised by the US-led international body.

Yes, several loopholes: such as, the disarming of Hamas, and the EVENTUAL removal of the Israeli Jewish Nazis from the areas. Hamas needs to stay armed. The Israeli Jewish Nazis need to remove themselves immediately. The people of Palestine need to control what happens there, not Wasrael, Israelica, not the Palestinian Authority or any of the other terrorist factions there; installed by, and working for the CIA. Dondolf Trump cannot be trusted. No one can, but Hamas. Clearly they want what’s best for the people, but the media keeps painting them as the bad guy.
