Palestinians collect flowers and roses from special farms in the Gaza Strip with the purpose of exporting or selling them in the local market on Valentine’s Day.

The Israeli blockade has made it extremely difficult for farmers to explore new markets for their profits.

The flower industry, however, despite the many struggles, remains alive.
