Israeli occupation forces launched widespread attacks across Gaza, killing several Palestinians and further crippling the Strip’s already collapsing health sector, as regional states warned against displacement and demanded full enforcement of the ceasefire agreement.
Several Palestinians were killed by Israeli occupation forces in Gaza at dawn on Saturday, as multiple areas came under heavy bombardment. The escalation marked yet another violation of the ceasefire agreement, which entered its first phase on October 10.
Medical staff at Al-Shifa Hospital reported that at least three Palestinians were shot dead by Israeli forces outside the so-called “yellow line” in Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza.
Israeli warplanes carried out a series of raids east of Rafah and Khan Yunis in the south, while artillery units shelled areas east of Khan Yunis and Gaza City. Eyewitnesses also said Israeli military vehicles opened machine-gun fire toward neighborhoods northeast of Khan Yunis.
Explosions echoed across Gaza City and its surroundings as the Israeli occupation army demolished several residential buildings east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, in Beit Lahia, and in the Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Strip. Israeli vehicles positioned east of Gaza City simultaneously fired flares into the sky while artillery shells struck nearby.

In central Gaza, eyewitnesses confirmed that at least one airstrike targeted the area east of the Maghazi refugee camp, though no casualties had yet been verified.
Israeli media reported that explosions heard in central Israel were the result of Israeli military operations inside Gaza.
In eastern Gaza City’s Sheja’iyya neighborhood, an Al Jazeera correspondent said occupation forces detonated buildings inside the yellow line. Two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli drone fire in the Al-Faluja area of Jabaliya refugee camp, according to emergency service sources. Eyewitnesses added that Sheja’iyya was shelled on Friday evening amid heavy drone activity.
Joint Statement
As expectations grew that the ceasefire agreement would soon enter its second phase, eight Arab and Islamic states called for the immediate implementation of the plan proposed by US President Donald Trump. They stressed the need to open the Rafah crossing in both directions and categorically rejected any attempt to force Palestinians out of Gaza.
Foreign ministers from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, the UAE, Turkiye, Indonesia, and Pakistan expressed alarm over Israeli statements suggesting the crossing should open only for Palestinians to leave toward Egypt. The ministers insisted on maintaining freedom of movement, ensuring the delivery of humanitarian aid, and upholding a full ceasefire.

A US official separately stated that the International Stabilization Force could be deployed as early as next year if all provisions of the agreement are implemented.
Collapse of the Health Sector
Medical sources in Gaza reported a rise in rare congenital deformities among newborns, a trend linked to the collapse of the health system and severe shortages of food and medicine after two years of siege and genocidal warfare.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said that 61% of health service points in Gaza are currently non-functional, despite the reopening of 42 facilities — including four hospitals — since the ceasefire began. The office warned of the heightened risks facing people with disabilities in winter, especially in overcrowded shelters lacking basic infrastructure.
The UN also reported that two-thirds of children under five are not receiving sufficient nutrition, with fears that malnutrition will deepen due to cold weather and the spread of disease.
