An Hezbollah ambush destroys Israeli tanks in southern Lebanon as Iran targets Haifa oil facilities and US bases.

Resistance Ambush

Lebanese resistance fighters carried out a series of operations against Israeli forces attempting to advance near the southern Lebanese town of Khiam.

According to a statement released by Hezbollah’s military media, fighters destroyed three Merkava tanks after luring Israeli forces into carefully prepared ambushes near the detention center on the southern outskirts of the town.

The movement said its fighters also targeted evacuation teams that attempted to reach the damaged vehicles, leading to the burning of the tanks and confirmed casualties among Israeli forces.

At 2:45 AM (Beirut time) on Tuesday, resistance fighters also targeted a newly established Israeli position on Tell al-Hamams hill, south of Khiam, with a rocket barrage.

Additional rocket attacks reportedly struck an Israeli artillery emplacement near the al-Abbad site and a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers at the al-Malikiyah site opposite the border town of Aitaroun.

Hezbollah fighters also targeted a newly established Israeli position on Jabal al-Bat in the border town of Aitaroun.

Earlier, at 01:30 AM, resistance fighters launched a rocket salvo targeting the Yiftah barracks.

Drone and Missile Strikes

In another operation at dawn Tuesday, Hezbollah targeted the Israeli Geva drone control base, east of the city of Safed, with a missile salvo.

Rocket attacks also struck a gathering of Israeli occupation soldiers and vehicles at a newly established position near the town of Markaba.

Missile strikes also targeted an artillery emplacement near the Marj site, opposite Markaba, as well as a gathering of Israeli forces at the Kahil height on the eastern outskirts of the border town of Maroun al-Ras.

The fighters additionally shelled Israeli occupation soldiers gathered in the Khanouq area of the village of Aitaroun.

Earlier on Monday evening, the movement announced that it had targeted the Tel Hashomer base, the headquarters of the Israeli army’s central command, southeast of Tel Aviv, with two attack drones.

The resistance also said it targeted the Tziporit base, east of Haifa, with a squadron of attack drones, marking the first such operation against that base.

Iran Targets Haifa Oil Facilities and US Bases

Meanwhile, the Iranian army announced in Statement No. 20 that its ground forces had targeted oil and gas refinery facilities and fuel depots in Haifa using drones.

According to the statement, the strikes were carried out in response to attacks on Iranian oil depots. The Iranian army said the confrontation with the United States and Israel would continue.

The statement declared that the Islamic Republic’s battle “with the criminals of the United States and the child-killing Israeli entity will continue until the final victory of the front of truth over falsehood.”

In Statement No. 19, issued Monday, the Iranian army said its ground, air and naval forces had conducted operations using suicide drones targeting Israeli sites and American military bases.

The statement said the operations targeted the ‘Rahwam’ combat support unit and the early warning radar station of the US base 512 inside Israel.

Iran also said the operations targeted US forces’ assembly centers and equipment depots at Al-Adiri camp in Kuwait.
