Israeli Aircraft Bombs Palestinian House, Injure 4

Israeli aircraft have hit a residence in the Gaza Strip, injuring four Palestinians including a woman, a report says.

Shrapnel from the missiles fired from Israeli aircraft caused the casualties in the east of the Gaza City in the early hours of Tuesday, Palestinian security officials and witnesses said, AFP reported.

The aircraft bombed out one house and caused damage to three neighboring buildings.

The Israeli army did not immediately comment on the attack.

Tel Aviv regularly orders airstrikes across Gaza Strip, claiming that the attacks are in response to rockets fired from the Strip in retaliation for the Israeli-Imposed blockade which has been in place since 2007.
