Israeli strikes and shelling across Gaza killed several Palestinians Monday as ceasefire violations and bombardments continued escalating.

Key Developments

  • Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks in al-Bureij, al-Zeitoun, and northern Gaza.
  • Israeli drone strike targeted civilians near the Al-Bureij refugee camp.
  • Israeli artillery and naval shelling struck Gaza City, Rafah, and Khan Yunis.
  • Gaza Health Ministry says 832 Palestinians killed since the October ceasefire began.

Several Palestinians Killed

Israeli attacks on multiple areas of the Gaza Strip killed several Palestinians and wounded others on Monday, amid continued violations of the ceasefire agreement that took effect on October 10.

Quds News Network reported on Monday that the body of 44-year-old Mousa al-Abyad arrived at Al-Shifa Hospital after he was shot by Israeli forces in the al-Atatra area north of Gaza.

Local sources said the shooting occurred outside the agreed deployment zones established under the ceasefire arrangement.

In central Gaza, an Israeli drone strike targeting the ‘Abu Shaaban land’, north of the Al-Bureij refugee camp, killed a Palestinian and wounded several others.

A Palestinian woman was also reportedly wounded by Israeli gunfire in the Shakoush area northwest of Rafah.

Additionally, Al Mayadeen reported that an Israeli drone killed Anas Hamad in al-Bureij refugee camp.

The attacks coincided with intensified bombardment across the enclave. Palestinian sources reported Israeli artillery shelling targeting eastern Gaza City, while Israeli naval vessels fired shells and bullets toward the coasts of Rafah and Khan Yunis.

According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, ongoing Israeli violations since the ceasefire began have killed 832 Palestinians and wounded approximately 2,354 others.

Palestinian officials say the continued attacks threaten the durability of the ceasefire that followed two years of war in Gaza.

The Israeli war on Gaza, launched in October 2023, has devastated large parts of the enclave, with Palestinian figures reporting more than 72,000 Palestinians killed and over 172,000 wounded since the start of the offensive.
