Israeli drone attacks across southern Lebanon have killed a school principal and targeted civilian facilities, vehicles, and infrastructure.
Israeli drone strikes intensified across southern Lebanon on Monday, hitting civilian areas and public infrastructure as border tensions continue to rise, Al Mayadeen reported.
In Bint Jbeil, an Israeli drone fired two missiles at a civilian vehicle, resulting in one fatality.
The strike is part of a growing pattern of targeted drone operations deep inside Lebanese territory, raising concerns about the deliberate expansion of the conflict and the increasing use of unmanned aircraft for precision targeting.

A separate attack was recorded in the town of Blida, where a drone dropped an explosive on an excavator.
The blast set the machinery ablaze. While no injuries were reported, local authorities and observers say such strikes appear intended to hinder rebuilding and infrastructure work in areas already affected by months of bombardment.
These latest incidents follow Sunday’s airstrike in the Tyre district, where the principal of the Mansouri Public School, Mohammad Shuweikh, was killed.

The Lebanese Minister of Education, Rima Karami, condemned the killing, calling it an attack on education and civilian life. She also urged international bodies and humanitarian agencies to ensure protection for schools, staff, and students.
Additional drone activity was reported in the village of al-Dhayrah, where an FPV drone dropped a flashbang on a group of civilians. No casualties were recorded.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces also targeted a water well in Odaisseh with a smoke bomb, disrupting access to a key civilian resource.
