UPDATE: Israeli authorities released former Knesset member and Balad Party leader Haneen Zoabi just hours after arresting her on charges of incitement, according to Israel’s Channel 12.
Israeli occupation forces carried out a widespread arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank at dawn on Sunday, detaining dozens of Palestinians, including former Arab Knesset member Haneen Zoabi.
According to Al Mayadeen, Zoabi was taken from her home in al-Nasira for interrogation on charges of “incitement to terrorism,” following a speech she delivered abroad that Israeli authorities described as anti-Israeli.
Raids also targeted former Palestinian prisoners in Nablus, including Qutaiba Azem, Mahmoud Abdel Hadi, and Musab Malitat, as well as Mohammed Sultan Mallah and Dr. Mujahid Burhan Shadid in Tulkarm.
In al-Khalil’s surrounding villages, detainees included Adam Tamer Abu Arqoub, Mustafa al-Tawil, and Mohammed Hussein al-Alami.
Elsewhere, Qarawa Bani Hassan’s mayor, Ibrahim Assi, was arrested in Salfit, with municipal equipment seized. In Jenin’s town of Jaba, soldiers interrogated Palestinian youth in the streets during extended raids.

Meanwhile, the al-Quds Brigades – Jenin Brigade announced that its fighters had targeted Israeli military vehicles with heavy gunfire near the Great Mosque on Saturday night.
Crackdown Intensifies
Israeli forces escalated raids on Saturday night, detaining Palestinians, restricting movement, and bulldozing roads in several towns. Local outlets reported arrests in Nablus, Qalqilya, and al-Khalil.
In Tarqumiya, west of al-Khalil, settlers attempted to raid a Palestinian home and steal livestock, prompting clashes that ended with Israeli soldiers arresting the Palestinian homeowner.
Operations extended to al-Bireh and the Jalazone refugee camp near Ramallah. In Jenin’s Ya’bad, Israeli units tore up streets, sealed entrances with dirt mounds, and turned Mayor Amjad Attatra’s home into a field interrogation site. The Dotan checkpoint west of Jenin was also closed, cutting off 8,000 residents of Barta’a from the rest of the governorate.

No doubt Zoabi said something like “Israel is guilty of genocide” that “Israelis” hear as “anti-Israel”. Great job, “Israel”, you just declare to the world (except for US White, male, Christian Zionists/Evangelical mob and UK Foreign Affairs Lammy) “Israel is guilty of genocide”.
“settlers attempted to raid a Palestinian home and steal livestock … Israeli soldiers arresting the Palestinian homeowner” — no Hamas, just settlers/soldiers arrested a Palestinian homeowner, trying to defend his family, house, livestock. Only in twisted Zionland.
