Israeli forces killed three Palestinians, including two children, during widespread raids and arrests in the occupied West Bank as settler violence escalated across multiple districts.

The Jenin Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades announced on Friday that it detonated a guided ‘Sijjil’ explosive device in the Muthallun area, targeting the route of Israeli military reinforcements advancing toward the town.

At the same time, the Nablus Brigade of the Al-Quds Brigades reportedly engaged an Israeli infantry unit with heavy and direct gunfire near a besieged house, as fighters continued confronting Israeli forces in the village of Tal, adjusting their tactics to the shifting field conditions.

Earlier, Israeli special forces infiltrated Tal and surrounded the home of Walid Ishtiyeh, before launching a raid with several military jeeps and vehicles.

The operation resulted in the killing of 24-year-old police officer Younes Walid Muhammad Ishtiyeh, whose body was withheld by Israeli forces, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.

Local media reported that Israeli troops fired live ammunition and sound grenades around the home, injuring Ishtiyeh and preventing Palestinian Red Crescent teams from reaching him. He was later pronounced dead.

In a related development, Israeli forces raided several areas in Nablus, including the Rafidia neighborhood and Al-Academy Street, where they set up temporary checkpoints before withdrawing.

Arrests in Tubas and Jenin

Meanwhile, Israeli forces detained a young Palestinian man after surrounding his family home near Al-Fara’a camp, south of Tubas.

According to Kamal Bani Odeh, director of the Tubas Prisoners’ Club, 25-year-old Mahdi Ibrahim Mutlaq al-Aydi was abducted after a raid carried out by Israeli special forces, reinforced by units from the Hamra military checkpoint.

In Jenin, Israeli forces also besieged a home in the western town of Burqin and arrested another Palestinian youth. Local sources said a special Israeli unit entered the town in a white vehicle with Palestinian license plates, surrounded the house, and ordered a young man to surrender using loudspeakers. Reinforcements later arrived, with soldiers deployed on nearby rooftops.

Local outlets confirmed that Israeli forces eventually arrested Amin Muhammad Sahmoud before withdrawing.

Three Palestinians Killed Today

In addition to Ishtiyeh, the Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed that Israeli forces killed two Palestinian children during a military raid on the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem.

The victims were identified as 18-year-old Amro Khaled Ahmad al-Marbooh and 16-year-old Sami Ibrahim Sami Mashaikh.

A funeral procession was held in Kafr Aqab, beginning at the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah.

Separately, it was reported that Israeli settlers carried out a wave of violent attacks on Palestinians and their property across multiple areas of the occupied West Bank on Friday.

Assaults were documented from Masafer Yatta to Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, and Tulkarm, as settler violence continues to escalate.
