A young Palestinian man succumbed on Thursday evening to injuries inflicted by Israeli army gunfire near the village of Atuf in the northern Jordan Valley, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health confirmed the murder of 25-year-old Karam Bani Odeh, who was shot by Israeli occupation forces near the village of Tammoun, in the northern Jordan Valley.

Earlier on Thursday, Israeli forces opened fire on Bani Odeh, preventing ambulance teams from approaching and providing medical assistance. The young man was later announced dead of his wounds.

Simultaneously, Israeli occupation forces closed the military checkpoints of Tayasir and Al-Hamra, both located in the vicinity of the deadly incident, in both directions, severely impacting the movement of Palestinian civilians and leading to a traffic jam.
